Lakefront Business Update Q3, 2024
Lakefront Data Solutions has had a momentous Q3. Officially launching in May 2024, this past quarter marked our first complete quarter of operations. During this period, we successfully completed projects for four clients, established partnerships with three organizations, and developed a pipeline poised to double our business by year-end.
Operational Highlights
As a growing small business, balancing operational tasks with business development is critical. To support our focus on client success, we have partnered with local legal and accounting firms in Cleveland. These partnerships enable us to delegate administrative tasks, ensuring our engineering talent remains focused on solving client challenges. This strategic approach will keep Lakefront on track as we move into the holiday season and prepare for 2025.
Strategic Partnerships
Over the quarter, Lakefront has forged several key platform and service partnerships. In June, we became Salesforce partners—a natural choice given the significant role Salesforce CRM plays in our clients' data management. This partnership will be instrumental as we expand our service offerings.
We’ve also partnered with Airbyte, a leading data integration platform that impressed our team with its robust open-source and cloud product offerings. This collaboration will enhance our ability to integrate and manage data across various client platforms.
On the services side, we’ve established a partnership with DiveTeam, a company that shares many of our core services while specializing in the Marketing Data Stack. In August, our team visited DiveTeam in Atlanta, Georgia, where we discussed 2025 partnership opportunities and captured some great moments with their team.
As a proud Cleveland-based technology company, we aimed to strengthen our local ties by partnering with a prominent business group this year. In August, we found the perfect fit by joining the Cleveland chapter of the Council of Smaller Enterprises (COSE). Our team had the opportunity to attend our first networking event focused on sustainability, held at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. We had an absolute blast and will be continuing to attend their monthly events moving forward.
Looking Forward
Q3 was an fantastic quarter and we fully expect Q4 to be just as exciting for the organization. We will be expanding the team to welcome a new full time engineer and focusing on expanding our partnerships by creating repeatable service offerings that drive fast time-to-value for our clients.
